Scholarship

In many parts of the world including Kenya, the number of children completing primary school and going on to secondary school continues to be low. As a result of poverty, more and more children fail to join post primary school education. The numbers of secondary school dropouts continues to rise due to lack of school fees. As a result of poverty and illiteracy, many bright girls are forced into early marriages while many
boys engage in crime. Their bright future is shattered. For example, one report in Kenya says, only about 56% of secondary school age children are enrolled in secondary school (Kenya National Bureau of Statistics). Career opportunities for those who have no further education beyond primary school are very limited.

Our Approach

R&RM supports children to attend secondary schools and vocational training. We enable children to gain the further education and practical skills they need to start their chosen career.
