Who We Are

We are a Christian organization driven by a passion to offer practical and sustainable positive transformation, God's way, to poverty-stricken communities globally. Our activities include improving livelihoods and the lives of the vulnerable, elderly, women and youth as well as sharing the transformational gospel of Jesus Christ to local communities through missions and outreaches.

For instance, in the photo alongside, the one seated at the second right is Daniel Karisa, a student who benefited from the scholarship program. The photo is on his graduation ceremony, as he became the best overall student in the institution, during the 20th Graduation of the Wildlife Research and Training Institute, Naivasha Kenya in December 2022.

Our Brief History

Ransom and Restore Ministries started as a follow-up to activities in support of different church denominations and community work. Although registered in 2022, it has been active as a Christian community support ministry since mid 1990s in which youthful brethren supported

vulnerable members of society with clothing, food, housing, church furniture, and organized outreaches in different parts of the Kenya and Tanzania. Due to the need to expand these activities, a decision was made to have it registered as a ministry.

Our Mission

To disciple the church of God, transform people livelihoods, restore, their well-being to what God intended, training them to serve others and become Christ-like. The priorities of this ministry are exclusively to serve the Lord Jesus Christ as a faith-based organization, spreading the love of God and the gospel and for educational purposes. The focus of this ministry is Church leadership, orphans, widows, the elderly, women and youth in churches and schools, married couples from different denominations that agree with tenets of faith and proclaim Jesus Christ as Saviour.

Location and Area of coverage

The ministry is headquartered at Mirihini, Bamba, off Bamba-Malindi Road, next to Kadzumba Ka Arahai Dispensary, Kilifi County, Kenya. It will establish and maintain fellowship centers under the name Ransom and Restore Ministries International for the purposes of worship and sharing of the word of God; establishment of academies, colleges, universities, radio and television stations, elderly care centers and helps.

God is Love! We conduct everything we do in love while making sure we give everyone a greater sense of belonging, meaning and value. We build all our relationships in love.

We value holiness while believing that God chose us and set us apart for His glory. Our lifestyles reflect the character of the God who called us to Himself. We believe that He calls us to be holy in order to reveal His grace, mercy, and love to a broken world.

We understand the importance of being patient and in all that we do we try to stay calm and focused even in situations where waiting is not easy. We are patient and keep going to reach our goal.

We are cheerful in all that we do. We understand people are always on the quest for happiness and fulfillment and although surrounded by adversity, sadness, and anger, we have the desire to be happy and bring happiness to others and the people we support.
